Cheryl Lynn Avery

Cheryl Lynn Avery, age 63, passed away on April 24, 2022, in Milford Michigan. Cheryl was born on October 3, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan to Edward and Dolores Mouranie.  She married Rick Avery in September 1981 and spent the remainder of their lives together.  

Cheryl is survived by her Husband Rick Avery; two children Chad (Jessica) Avery and Allyce (Bryan) Schinske; four grandchildren Cash Avery, Jack Avery, Henry Schinske, and Hudson Schinske; brothers Chuck (Celeste) Mouranie and Michael (Lori) Mouranie, sister Sue Ann (Gary) Hopson, brother-in-law Jim (Jane) Avery as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her loyal dog Sophie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dolores Mouranie.

In her free time, Cheryl enjoyed spending time with friends and family and especially quality time with her grandchildren. Her many loves were crafting, cooking, baking, planning parties, reading, and scrapbooking. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends that knew and loved her.

A wife, a mother, a nana too, this is the legacy we have from you.  You taught us love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, not just as a wife not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best and now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep, your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep. Author Unknown

A Celebration of her Life will be held for friends and family at a later date.
